AFI 2012 Summary

 First of all, our participation and sponsorship continues to be well appreciated here. Customers and potential customers visited the booth and are always pleased to see us

The market conditions in Australia currently are fairly tough. Most people seem to be struggling or quiet at best. This is very much confirming what we are experiencing ourselves (This include feedback from other sponsors too)

The Carbon tax seem to be the final straw that broke the camel’s back as effectively, they will be working for the government so they’re better out. In fact, people are complaining that they are paying twice for it, directly and indirectly through the electricity prices.

Another negative factor currently is the exchange with a strong Aus $ hitting exports.

We did manage to speak about agency for new markets. Thailand, Chile and Indonesia. The latter one in particular seem to be on a few people’s mind.

Well done to the organizers particularly Caryn…who worked so very hard.
